Cops are now tracing Chris Halliwell's movements back two decades to see if they link up to unsolved disappearances of other women.
Last night a source close to the probe said: "He hinted after being picked up that there could be other victims. They are preparing to go back over the last 20 years."
The insider added: "When he was first picked up he did chat to detectives, although he has subsequently stayed silent."
Halliwell, 47, has been charged with the murder of Sian, 22, last month. The personal assistant's body was found after she went missing from a nightclub in her hometown of Swindon, Wilts.
The cabbie - said to have led police to the remains in a field of Becky Godden-Edwards, 20, from Swindon - is to be quizzed over her death and that of Melanie Hall, 26, from nearby Bath.
And he might be linked to four more women who have gone missing from Swindon since 1994. Source
