A 29-year-old man has died after being attacked by a group of masked men in Derby last night. Derbyshire Police said they were called to reports of a fight in Cummings Street at about 7.40pm.
The man was found unconscious with head injuries and he was pronounced dead at the Royal Derby Hospital.
A police spokesman said the victim was "set upon by five masked males who were wearing dark clothing and heavy jackets".
A murder investigation has been launched and anyone who may have been in the area between 7 and 8pm is urged to get in contact. Source
