The link, if proved true, raises the number of victims to at least 13.
Investigators announced yesterday the killing spree could have lasted more than four years, with further victims in nearby Nassau County.

Prosecutors in Atlantic City contacted Suffolk County detectives after they spotted similarities between the four unsolved prostitute murders and the skeletal remains of eight women found along Gilgo Beach, Long Island.
Kimberly Raffo, Barbra Breidor, Tracy Ann Roberts and Molly Jean Dilts were all prostitutes murdered in 2006 and their bodies were found in a marsh area off a New Jersey road in West Atlantic City.
The latest development came after another frustrating day searching the underbrush along Gilgo and Oak beaches, an area of seven and a half miles.
The Craigslist killer inquiry was originally sparked by the disappearance of 24-year-old Shannan Gilbert, a New Jersey prostitute who advertised on Craigslist.
After police began their search the bodies of four other women, who also worked as Craigslist escorts and were in their 20s, were found along the same highway.
