Another Senseless Killing on the Streets of London - Schoolboy, 15, stabbed to death in the street 'after row over BlackBerry' - 11th Apr 2011

A schoolboy was stabbed to death in front of his ten-year-old brother after a row over a BlackBerry phone, it was claimed today.

The 15-year-old, who has not yet been named, was set upon by a gang of four youths on bicycles in Edmonton, north London, last night.

Police say he was repeatedly knifed in the chest and thigh in what was a frenzied attack.

He was rushed to hospital after being found in a pool of blood in a street in the area on Sunday evening, but died a few hours later.

The teenager is the fourth to be stabbed to death in London this year.

Flowers were laid in tribute at the scene of the attack today as neighbours warned the area was gripped by fear because of gangs.

Michael Athnasiou, who lives near the murder scene, said: 'The gangsters are getting out of control. It is very scary.' Read More
